Add a new update booking question

A booking update question allows field workers to provide further details when they change the status of a booking. This promotes a better understanding between office and field workers. Different questions can be assigned to different statuses so that a specific question will only be asked when a booking is placed on a specific status. To add a new update booking question:
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select General Settings
  3. Click Update Booking Question
  4. Click New Question
  5. Add your question and select the question type
  6. If the question type is multiple, add options for the user to choose from

You can choose between different answer types :

  • Multiple: You can Add Option, that mean the different answers that the user can choose.
  • Boolean: The user will choose between ‘yes’ or ‘no’
  • Text: The user will provide his own answer
  • Date: The user will choose a date

Then you can assign an update booking question to a specific booking status:
  1. Click View Booking Status below a question
  2. Select one or multiple statuses that you want to assign the question to
  3. Press Save

When you edit a booking, the system will ask the user to answer this booking question whenever a booking is placed on the selected status(s).
Then you will be able to see the questions and answers on the booking :
