Mobile app flags

You can customize some settings in the customer portal and OctopusPro app.  You can activate or deactivate some flags to choose what result you want to be applied in the customer portal or OctopusPro app. To do so:
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select General Settings
  3. Click Booking Settings
  4. Click Mobile App Flags page
  5. Press the button to activate or deactivate

Activating this flag will make the search icon appear in the services list page in the customer portal and in OctopusPro app, while deactivating it will make it disappear. 

Activating this flag will make the description of a service appear under the service image in the customer portal and in OctopusPro app, while deactivating it will make the description disappear.

When this flag is activated, an alarm is sent to fieldworkers prior to a booking time stating that they need to leave immediately in order to arrive to their upcoming booking on time. Each visit to a job has four statuses that fieldworkers choose from according to their conditions: “I’m on my way, I’ve arrived, start job, and finish job”. Prior to a job, and based on their last location and the traffic conditions, fieldworkers will receive an alarm notification , if this flag is activated, stating that they need to leave immediately in order to arrive at their upcoming booking on time. After a while, if the fieldworker didn’t press “I’m on my way” button, then a notification is sent to the admin to be notified that this fieldworker is running late.
