The following screen shot is taken form OctopusPro app when the search bar and the service description flags are activated.

When this flag is activated, an alarm is sent to fieldworkers prior to a booking time stating that they need to leave immediately in order to arrive to their upcoming booking on time. Each visit to a job has four statuses that fieldworkers choose from according to their conditions: “I’m on my way, I’ve arrived, start job, and finish job”. Prior to a job, and based on their last location and the traffic conditions, fieldworkers will receive an alarm notification , if this flag is activated, stating that they need to leave immediately in order to arrive at their upcoming booking on time. After a while, if the fieldworker didn’t press “I’m on my way” button, then a notification is sent to the admin to be notified that this fieldworker is running late.

The time fieldworkers check-in jobs (start jobs) and check-out (leave the booking site) is detected and appeared on the fieldworker tracking map for each visit to a booking. Admins can know exactly when fieldworkers check-in into the booking site, and when they check-out from the booking site. Each visit to a job has four statuses: “I’m on my way, I’ve arrived, start job, and finish job” that fieldworkers must choose from in OctopusPro app according to their condition. Once the fieldworker presses the button “Start Job”, the time is registered and is shown on the map for the admin to see. When the fieldworker presses the button “Finish Job”, the time is registered and is shown on the map.

When this flag is activated, fieldworkers will be automatically checked out if they leave the site of the booking without pressing “Finish job”; and the time of auto check out will be shown on the map. Moreover, a notification will be sent to fieldworkers to notify them that they have been checked out from the booking site, so that they can press “Finish Job” button in OctopusPro app to let the admin know that the job has been finished.
