Updates and notifications

You will receive notifications for new booking requests and any changes to existing bookings via the following methods:
OctopusPro App
If you are logged into the app, you will receive a notification whenever you are assigned a new job and whenever any changes are made to existing bookings. Click on the notification for more details or to be taken to the related page. It’s important to check notifications as soon as you receive them as it may change your schedule. To view all notifications:
1. Click on the Notifications tab at the bottom of the page
2. Click on a notification to go to the related page
3. Click on the menu icon at the top right of the page to mark all notifications as Read
As soon as the office assigns you to a booking, you will receive a booking request email with all of the booking details. Login to the app to accept or decline the request.
SMS message
If you have SMS notifications activated and our office staff has assigned a job to you, you will receive a text message confirming the booking with brief details of the job. The text message will include a link which will give you more information on the job you have been assigned, allowing you to accept or decline.
When you receive a new booking request, a notification will appear in your dashboard above New Requests and on the left-hand menu next to Bookings.
