App user guide
Display link to “About Us” page in the menu
OctopusPro allows you to add an “About Us” page to your website. The “About Us” page provides information about the company and its operations to the customers.
To activate the “About Us” flag, navigate to Settings > Customer portal > Flags & permissions.
You will be redirected to the customer portal flags and permissions settings page, in the website flags sections, enable the Display link to “About us” page in menu flag.
You can then enter the content you want to appear on the about us page. In the text box, you can:
- Edit styles, fonts, colors, and much more using the toolbar provided.
- Organize your text using bullet points, numbered lists, and paragraph alignment.
- Add tables, links, photos, and videos for a better visual presentation for your company.
- You can use full screen or code view and the help button to edit your text easily.

When the flag is activated, an “About Us” link will appear on the top right of the customer portal homepage.
When you click on the “About Us” link, the about us page will appear with the content you have entered in the settings.
