Alarms

The alarm feature within the app has been created in order to keep staff and customers connected, this will cut down missed bookings and create better communication channels with everyone. There are two types of alarms. The following alarm is to notify you of your upcoming job.

 

Alarm notification before job
Prior to a job, based on your last location you will receive an alarm notification stating that you will need to leave in order to get to the upcoming job on time. You will need to attend to this alarm otherwise it will keep alerting you to take action.
You will be presented with three options which are:
1. Leaving now: To inform office and customer you are on your way
2. Running late: To advise you will be delayed and to inform by what time you will arrive
3. No longer attending: To inform that you no longer can attend job.
    
Leaving now
This option will notify the office and the customer that you are on your way to the job. Based on your location, it will give you an approximately time of arrival. You also have the option of changing the time if you are running a few minutes late.
A pop up window will open within the app and will allow you to confirm that you are on your way to the job.
Once this option has been selected you will get a confirmation message saying that the customer has been notified that you are on your way to the job.

 

      
Running Late
This option will notify the office and the customer that you are running late to the job.Based on your location, it will give you an approximately time of arrival. You also have the option of changing the time if you are running a few minutes late.
A pop up window will open within the app and will allow you to confirm that you are on your way to the job.
Once this option has been selected you will get a confirmation message saying that the customer has been notified that you are on your way to the job.

 

      
No longer attending
This option will notify the office and the customer that you will no longer be attending the job.
If you change your mind about this you just simply close the pop up window and it will take you back to the alarm for you to change your selection.
A pop up window will open within the app explaining the cancellation policy for jobs and that it might affect the quantity of bookings you will receive in the future if there is not a valid reason for cancellation. You will need to click I understand in order to proceed.
We take the reputation of our company, good service and customer satisfaction very seriously, so you will need to explain why you are no longer able to attend. Once you have given the reasons why simply hit Submit and we will be notified the reasons why you cannot go to the job.
The no longer attending notification will be displayed after submitting the reasons why you will not attend.
Remember that the more bookings are cancelled last minute the less job bookings you might get in the future.
