This guide will walk you through the management of these discussions in the OctopusPro portal.

Adding a Comment to an Issue/Complaint Discussion

To foster transparency and easy communication, OctopusPro allows users to add comments to an issue or complaint discussion. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Issue/Complaint overview and click ‘Actions’.
  2. Select ‘Issue/Complaint Discussion’.

3. Choose the visibility of your comment (visible to fieldworkers only, or fieldworkers and customer).

4. Enter your comment and click ‘Send’.

Alternatively:

  1. Access the specific issue/complaint page.
  2. Under the ‘Discussion’ tab, click ‘ADD COMMENT’.
  3. Choose the visibility of your comment and enter your comment.
  4. Click ‘Send’.

Viewing Issue/Complaint Discussion

Both fieldworkers and customers can contribute to and view an issue or complaint discussion, granted they have the required access permissions. Here’s how to view these comments:

  1. Go to the specific issue/complaint.
  2. Click on ‘View Discussion’       

Accessing Discussions via Mobile App and Customer Portal

The discussion feature extends to the mobile application for fieldworkers, and the customer portal, facilitating on-the-go communication. Fieldworkers can engage in discussions directly from their app, receiving instant notifications for replies, ensuring they stay updated.

Similarly, customers can participate and track discussions via their booking page if the business has shared it. This level of access promotes customer engagement and ensures seamless communication.
