Generate invoices automatically when the booking is created
OctopusPro allows you to generate invoices automatically once a booking is created, this will save you time creating them manually, and keep your bookings and invoices more organized.
This flag is only visible if you disable Allow customers to make repeat/recurring bookings flag because it already has an option to select when you want to generate your invoices.
Note that, you can only disable this flag if your payment terms are set to “no payment”, but if your payment terms are set to any other payment, the invoices must be generated automatically after the booking as there are required payments by the customer that needs an invoice. To enable this flag, go to Settings > Customer portal > Flags & permissions, you will be redirected to the customer portal flags and permissions settings page, in the booking flags sections, enable Generate invoices automatically when the booking is created flag.
On the admin portal, once a booking is created, an invoice will be generated automatically and you can view it from the booking details page or from all invoices.

If the flag is disabled, you will have to generate the invoices manually, so when a booking is created a quote will be added instead of an invoice until you generate it manually.
Go to the booking details page, you can view the quote and then generate an invoice or click on Actions > Generate invoice from the booking details page, then an invoice will be added to the booking.
